In the heart of Zermatt Location

Right in the middle and almost at the mountain – this characterises the Alpine Hotel Perren's location. Two minutes to the Sunnegga-Rothorn valley station and only five minutes to Zermatt train station or the village centre, all on foot.

Although we are very centrally located, it's still quiet and cosy here.
Only a few minutes away from our house, there is a gentle climb: hiking trails that are also accessible in winter invite you to take a walk.

The village has a Zermatt feeling to it: our community is one single pedestrian zone. Electric vehicles buzz quietly through the alleys. Pedestrians have priority. This is how deceleration works. You can look forward to a completely different attitude towards life.
On the mountain, over 300 kilometres of pistes and in summer a uniquely maintained 400-kilometre network of cross-border hiking trails offer you access to the breathtakingly beautiful, alpine landscape. Always in view: the Matterhorn, our local mountain.
